NEW POLL SHOWS DA TODD SPITZER VULNERABLE TO CHALLENGE FROM PETE HARDIN
Spitzer’s unethical decisions and extremist views pave clear path to victory for Pete Hardin
ORANGE, CA – Today, new poll results show first-time candidate Pete Hardin is statistically tied with Todd Spitzer, with most voters undecided after voters hear critiques of the two candidates. With crime rising, Orange County’s homelessness crisis worsening, and Spitzer facing numerous lawsuits for enabling sexual harassment, the data shows former Marine Judge Advocate Pete Hardin has a clear path to victory over 25-year career politician and scandal-ridden incumbent, Todd Spitzer.
“Our campaign for a modern system of justice with integrity is resonating with voters,” said former Marine Judge Advocate Pete Hardin. “We have a lot of work to do, but we’re fired up and ready to bring change to an institution mired in scandal and injustice.”
“This poll highlights just how vulnerable incumbent District Attorney Todd Spitzer is in a county that has received national attention for its shifting demographics,” said Campaign Manager Izak Epstein. “Also of note is the relative support for a first-time candidate when contrasted with a longtime politician that has been campaigning and on ballots for 25-years. If Spitzer and his team didn’t have alarm bells going off before, they will now.”
The poll shows that District Attorney Todd Spitzer is vulnerable, with only about one-third of voters backing his candidacy for re-election. After voters hear critiques of the two candidates the contest is a statistical tie.
